Organization and conduct of the practice
Types of practices:
- industrial;
- pre-diploma practice;
- research.
Industrial practice is conducted for applicants for a bachelor’s degree. The purpose of the internship is to deepen and consolidate the theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired by students in the process of studying the disciplines of the professional training cycle; familiarization directly in an institution, organization, or enterprise with the organizational and production process, acquisition of general and professional competencies and program learning outcomes, as well as collection of material for individual tasks, course work (projects), etc.
Pre-diploma practice of applicants is conducted in the final year of study in order to summarize and improve the acquired general and professional competencies and program learning outcomes, mastering professional experience and their readiness for independent work, as well as collecting materials for qualification work.
Research practice, as a rule, is conducted for applicants for a master’s degree in educational and scientific programs and should include research on the problems of the relevant field in order for applicants to acquire general and professional competencies and program learning outcomes that are innovative, research-based.
To ensure practical training of applicants, the University cooperates with organizations, enterprises, institutions that create the necessary conditions for the implementation of practice programs for higher education applicants. Determination of practice bases for a particular specialty (educational program) is carried out by graduating departments. To organize the practice of applicants at an enterprise, organization, institution, the University concludes appropriate agreements on the practice in advance.
Applicants who combine their studies with work in their specialty may undergo internships at the place of employment (including abroad), provided that they complete the full scope of the internship program.
Applicants who are simultaneously studying at the University and a foreign higher education institution can take an internship abroad.
The form of control over the results of the practice is the defense of the report.
The report on industrial or pre-graduation practice should be practically completed 3-4 days before the end of the program part.
